On the desktop right click ----> New----> shortcut .
In the location area type (without quotes) "shutdown -r" to reboot, "shutdown -l" to logout, "shutdown -s" to shutdown.
In the name for the shortcut type in any name you are comfortable with e.g SHUTDOWN or RESTART etc.
Click Finish and its done.
Now double-click the icon created to perform the actions
You can do tricks using this also.. Like name it as
Don`t touch, so if u leav your system logged in and somr other person tries to use it.. he will definietly click it and your computer will be logged off or shut down,, and you can have your data safe
